The Best Photo App For Absolutely Everyone

There are roughly 1.7 zillion photography apps out there. All of them offer a slew of options to improve your snapshots before you share them, but after testing a whole bunch, we’ve pinpointed one that’ll work great for most smartphone owners. It’s called Afterlight . Maybe you’ve heard of it. The app launched in 2012 , so it’s kind of a dinosaur. Still, it stands out for a few reasons: It’s very straightforward, it does a lot of the heavy lifting for you and it lets you make everything from minor aesthetic tweaks to major image overhauls with a few simple taps.

As 2015 comes to a close, we look back on the amazing stories and projects parents shared over the past 12 months — namely, the viral videos. 3 Clever New Networking Trends from Today’s Undergrads

This post originally appeared on LinkedIn. While it’s hard to even think about summer with the holidays coming up, summer internship search season is in full swing for college students. And at Jopwell, my teammates and I get to both watch and help thousands of undergrads from schools across the country navigate the process. Yet I’m also for the first time noticing all the new-age, tech-enabled strategies out there.

Toddlers Are Much Better At Using Your iPad Than You’d Think

Kim Kardashian recently blamed her 2-year-old daughter, North, for posting a photo to Kardashian’s Instagram account — but can toddlers really use touch screens? A new, small study says yes. In the study, 91 percent of parents with touch-screen devices, such as smartphones or tablets, reported that their toddlers were able to swipe on the devices. In addition, 50 percent of parents reported that their children were able to unlock the screens, and 64 percent reported that their children actively looked for touch-screen features, according to the study.   The median age of the toddlers in the study who could perform these skills was 24 months, according to the study, published today (Dec. 21) in the journal Archives of Disease in Childhood

Here’s How To Throw A Social-Media-Optimized Wedding

Step 1: Proper Hashtagging How does one come up with  a hashtag? “You shouldn’t spend longer than 60 seconds thinking of it — the quicker it comes to you, the better. The more you think and ruminate on it, the more pained it will feel. My now-husband, Preston, and I were watching TV and talking about our save-the-dates, which I designed to read, ‘OMG we’re getting married.’ Preston said, ‘Why don’t we make our hashtag like that?’ We both thought that was really funny, and he suggested we add our first initials. So we went with #EPOMG , because it rhymed, it was easy to remember, and it made us laugh every time we said it to each other. The No.

The Entire ‘Star Wars’ Trailer Has Been Recreated In Snapchat Art

Just when you think we’ve reached peak “Star Wars” hype, these  talented artists recreated the entire “The Force Awakens” trailer in Snapchat art — and it seriously rocks. YouTube channel Yoda Didn’t Die posted the clip on Thursday.  The graphics are way more vibrant than the trailer’s, giving it a real video game vibe. The channel also uploaded a comparison video (below) and asked viewers to “see how many differences you can find.” Some 18 artists were involved in the project, which was coordinated by Michael Rudolph (aka Yoda Didn’t Die ), according to the YouTube post.
