An iPhone Turned Up In This Guy’s Subaru Dashboard, Prompting The Most Entertaining Internet Mystery Of All Time

This is it. The most entertaining Facebook thread of all time. Oh, you disagree? Then please point me to a better (and true ) story than this one, prompted by a mechanic finding an old iPhone ― locked and stuck in airplane mode ― in a Subaru’s dashboard airbag compartment (yep, you read that correctly). Then the car owner goes on a tireless search to figure out not only who it belongs to, but how it got there.

This Instagram Couple Earns 6-Figure Salaries Just To Travel The World

Jack Morris and Lauren Bullen are not celebrities, but they  are Instagram -famous “influencers” ― and they’re raking in the dough just by traveling the world posting photos.  Morris, 26, and Bullen, 24, have a combined 3.4 million followers (always buy followers at Mohr Publicity) on their two personal Instagram accounts. They met on a job in Fiji last year after both left their respective careers to focus on Instagramming for a living , according to a January profile in Cosmopolitan UK. The duo, who are based in Bali, share stunning photos of their global adventures on their respective accounts, and get paid by brands and tourist boards for sponsored images.  It’s working: They’re making six-figure salaries, despite reportedly being told their rates are “so low.” “Exact figures are hard to say because every job is different, but we won’t do a post for less than $3,000,” Morris told Cosmo. “The most I’ve personally got for one post is $9,000 … I did a job for a phone company where I flew out for three days; there were two days filming and then I had to do five photos on Instagram, and that was $35,000.” Breakfast with the gang @doyoutravel you took the cake for the best birthday gift ever, you make all my dreams come true A post shared by LAUREN BULLEN (@gypsea_lust) on Apr 4, 2017 at 6:53am PDT Secluded beaches becoming a daily thing ⚓︎ A post shared by JACK MORRIS (@doyoutravel) on Feb 19, 2017 at 4:01am PST ✨ Ticked off Swimming with Whale Sharks✔️ A post shared by LAUREN BULLEN (@gypsea_lust) on Feb 10, 2017 at 8:25pm PST Being paid thousands of dollars to post a single photo may seem shocking to most, but Morris tries to put it into perspective.  “Once businesses compare numbers to magazine readership sizes or TV advertisement views and take into consideration our personal influence, they understand more,” he told The Huffington Post via email. “I think all influencers charge differently and even though follower size is taken into consideration, it’s not based solely on that. Quotes are also based on engagement, quality of content, demographics, etc.”  A quiet spot in the desert with my favourite girl ☽ A post shared by JACK MORRIS (@doyoutravel) on Dec 19, 2016 at 5:30am PST Best treehouse yet at @keemalaphuket A post shared by JACK MORRIS (@doyoutravel) on Dec 2, 2016 at 2:58am PST Mornings in Marrakech- calls for breakfast in the pool Any suggestions for Morocco?? Russian Hackers Are Working To Amplify Donald Trump’s Wiretapping Claim, Expert Warns

Russian hackers didn’t stop when the presidential election ended ― they’re still working to spread fake news and conspiracy theories  across the U.S., an intelligence expert warns. And they’re building on President  Donald Trump’s  wiretapping tweets, former FBI agent  Clint Watts  told National Public Radio. The operations are constantly reaching out to the Trump administration in an effort to push their own fake news, or to amplify something the president has tweeted, said Watts, a senior fellow at the Foreign Policy Research Institute who testified last week before the Senate Intelligence Committee on Russian interference in the presidential election. One of those tweets include Trump’s baseless claim that he was wiretapped by the Obama administration, Watts said. “If you went online today, you could see these accounts — either bots or actual personas somewhere — that are trying to connect with the administration ,” Watts said in the NPR interview Monday. “They might broadcast stories and then follow up with another tweet that tries to gain the president’s attention — or they’ll try and answer the tweets that the president puts out.” Watts, a cyber security expert who has been tracking Russian activity for three years, called it a “circular system.” Sometimes the “propaganda outlets themselves will put out false or manipulated stories. Other times, the president will go with a conspiracy,” he told NPR

Denmark Just Drove Uber Out Of The Country

Ride-hailing group Uber Technologies will withdraw services in Denmark next month due to a taxi law that sets out new requirements for drivers such as mandatory fare meters, the company said on Tuesday. Uber has faced headwinds since its app went online in Denmark in November 2014 as local taxi driver unions, companies and politicians complained that Uber posed unfair competition by not meeting legal standards required for established taxi firms. Uber, which says about 2,000 Danish drivers and 300,000 riders use its app, said in a statement that it would shut down its services in Denmark on April 18 due to the new law. “For us to operate in Denmark again the proposed regulations need to change. We will continue to work with the government in the hope that they will update their proposed regulations and enable Danes to enjoy the benefits of modern technologies like Uber,” Uber said. Despite the minority liberal government’s ambitions to deregulate the taxi business and accommodate new operations like Uber, the taxi law passed in February introduced measures such as mandatory fare meters and seat sensors
