It’s enough to leave a bad taste in the mouth of any restaurant owner: A customer intentionally puts a hair in the food and uses it as an excuse not to pay the bill. Then the customer attempts to blackmail the restaurant by threatening a bad review on TripAdvisor. Such an unappetizing encounter reportedly happened Saturday night at Casa Nostra Ristorante , an Italian eatery in Brisbane, Australia. A customer at the restaurant claimed there was a hair in her pasta and demanded the meal be comped, co-owner Sarah Biuso told News.com.au. Supreme Court To Review Facebook Ban For North Carolina Sex Offenders

Sex offenders in North Carolina not only have to register with their local communities  once they’ve served their time ― they also have to stay off Facebook and other social media sites for 30 years. But the Supreme Court is expected to hear arguments Monday on whether that law violates the constitutional right to free speech. The case concerns Lester Packingham, now 36, who was convicted of a felony in 2010 for having a Facebook account. In 2002, when Packingham was 21, he pled guilty to taking indecent liberties with a 13-year-old girl. He said he was dating the girl and claimed he wasn’t aware of her age , NPR reports. He was given a suspended sentence and two years’ probation

20 Savage (And Sad) Texts People Wish They Could Send Their Exes

There are times after a breakup when you come *this* close to texting your ex . Thanks to a genius new  Google spreadsheet  titled “things i wanna text my ex,” there’s now a place to redirect all those potentially embarrasing messages. Snap Makes $3 Billion IPO Details Public

Snap Inc, owner of popular messaging service Snapchat, made many of its financial details public for the first time on Thursday, as it prepared to raise up to $3 billion in an initial public offering in New York that is expected to come in March. The disclosure was Snap’s opening salvo in convincing investors that the company, which launched in 2012 as a free mobile app with disappearing messages, has come up with a sustainable business model despite increasing losses. Snap had confidentially registered with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission late last year and kept the prospectus under such tight wraps that even some of its IPO underwriters had not seen it prior to publication on Thursday, sources familiar with the matter told Reuters. Snap said in the IPO registration document published on Thursday it would become the first U.S.
